Moon in the spires - Pittsburgh skyline - Various Prints

I originally wasn't even planning on going out, as I thought that it was going to be cloudy, however about an hour before moonrise the sky started to clear. I decided to head to the West End Bridge, as the moon would end up right behind the city from there. From places like the South Shore, the West End, and Mt. Washington, the moon would end up to the right of the city. I hung out, shot some images of barges, and just patiently waited for the moon to emerge from behind the clouds, and boy did it make an entrance! It came up right behind the spires of PPG Place as the sun was lighting up the skyline, creating an absolutely incredible scene. I have SO many more images to share from tonight, so stay tuned!
